Making of a Realistic Corpse for your Hallowen Haunted House
List with the needed materials for the corpse:
- 1 cheap lab skeleton
- 3 rolls of paper towels, solid white
- 2 cans of 3M Repositionable Spray Glue
- 1 can of “Good Stuff” Spray Foam
- 2 or 3 Bottles of Tacky glue
- An adequate skull
- Brown gloss paint
- Paint brush
Take an inexpensive plastic skeleton, a couple of paper towels and some 3M repositionable 77 spray glue. Begin by filling the joints between the bone; you might use for instance, hot glue. Next flip the skeleton and put some duck tape across the back of the joints for a more rigid corpse. Next, drive a couple nails into the stomach area so that they stick out for the foam to have something to hold onto it. Fill the torso with foam till it is fully filled. Let it dry fro a couple of days and then carve the foam with a knife to the wanted look. Rip off the straight edges of the paper towels and tear it into reasonable size for them to be worked in the ribs and fingers and all around the bones. Put the strips on the ground and spray glue on one side. Apply the strips to the skeleton, pushing it into the joints.
After the skeleton is fully covered, it will probably look somehow weird, but just let it dry for a few days. As soon as it is completely dried, mix two bottle of tacky glue with two bottles of water and some glossy brown paint.
Paint the obtained stuff onto the body and with a sufficiently wet mixture it should go on easily. Allow it to dry and then continue. Do the same thing with the skull as well. You can change the original skull of the skeleton with a better one, for a better effect.
