How to Make a Following Eye Painting Haunted House Illusion

How to Make a Following Eye Painting Haunted House IllusionI am sure that at some point in your life, you have had the feeling that you are being watched. Well, that is something you would like your audience to feel while they are in your house. Of course, you do the well-known old trick of hiding someone behind a painting with the eyes of the painting cut out. There is just one problem with it, that is a person have to stay behind the painting all night long. Plus, if you don’t have enough people to spare, this is the place you’ll need them at least.

The alternative method involves a picture and a certain amount of depth deception. You have to cut out the eyes of the picture, while the pupils or a reasonable facsimile need to be glued to a piece of cardboard behind the picture. Now, the trick is to have a spacer between the picture and the board with the eyes glued on it, of a quarter inch thick piece of foam core board. The depth of the eyes determines them to seem to follow your moves around the room. Try it out yourself and you’ll see that the effect is astonishing.
