Authentic Zombie Distressed Clothing Idea for Halloween
Welcome to this year’s Halloween Creepy Fashion Show. As you might have already discovered, realistic distressing might be quite tedious and time consuming. This year, I have decided to plant clothing in my garden.
Here are the steps to follow for clothing planting:
- Dig a hole large enough for the clothing you want to bury;
- Fill the hole with clothing; in my experience cotton appears to be the best, next to wool;
- As a rotting agent pour in old pond water or something with bio material;
- Bury all the clothing;
- Wait for three months before digging them up.
After the three months, you should dig up some excellent zombie clothing, rotten and aged, just perfect to dress up your skeletons.
You might also want to cut away a large amount of material on the skeleton for the corpse underneath to be largely visible.
The effect of the distressed clothing is totally convincing and authentic. Be prepared however for the smell of the rotten materials.
